Client
The Clock Foundation is making epigenetic aging clocks more accessible for use with preclinical and clinical studies. This includes newer measures that help predict future healthspan and lifespan, such as PhenoAge and GrimAge, as well as epigenetic clocks for diverse mammalian species.
Background
Clinical studies of anti-aging interventions rely on epigenetic clocks that predict the biological age of a given sample. The client’s goal was to facilitate quick analysis of the most common experimental designs and to enable to shift focus on more complex studies as well as the development of novel epigenetic age predictors. We developed an automated analysis and AI modelling platform and performed more than 3000 studies to-date.
Solutions
- Automatic epigenetic data pipeline with simultaneous application of ML/AI and statistical testing
- Automated processing of multiple independent datasets in parallel is scalable and fast
- In-depth and customized analysis upon request on the same platform
- Training of AI models to create novel epigenetic age predictors
Award
VUGENE, in collaboration with The Epigenetic Clock Development Foundation, has been honored with the Impact Award by the Baltic-American Freedom Foundation, the U.S. Embassy in Lithuania and Inovacijų agentūra.
