Juozas Gordevičius

CTO, Founder

Juozas earned his PhD in Computer Science at The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in Italy and has since conducted biomedical research at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the University of Toronto (UofT), and the Van Andel Research Institute. He has expertise in bioinformatics, with a focus on the epigenetics of aging and complex diseases. Over the course of his career, he has developed innovative algorithms for processing and analysing epigenome sequencing data, contributing to a deeper understanding of human diseases and the development of precise diagnostic tools.

Ingrida Olendraitė

CSO

Ingrida completed her bachelor’s studies in Molecular Biology at Vilnius University and became a leader of the first Vilnius-Lithuania iGEM team. Later, in the UK, she finished her master’s studies in Genetics of Human Disease at UCL and she earned a PhD in Computational Biology (University of Cambridge) by exploring the discovery and molecular biology of RNA viruses. During the COVID-19 pandemic Ingrida was a consultant to the Lithuanian prime minister, Ingrida Šimonytė, on SARS-CoV-2 sequencing and on coordinating country-wide virus control measures. She leads the RNA virus discovery community for “RdRp summit 2025”.

Vilija Lomeikaitė

Senior Bioinformatician

Vilija completed her PhD in Human Genetics at the University of Glasgow, where she continued her work as a post-doctoral researcher. With a background in rare disease genetics, including myotonic dystrophy type 1 and Huntington disease, she’s interested in understanding human disease at genetic and molecular levels and developing bioinformatics tools to advance the field.

Milda Milčiūtė
